Boil water notice lifted in south DeLand

Boil water notices are no longer in effect for south DeLand following a recent water main break, an official said.

Water has been restored, but the eastbound lane of Orange Camp Road is still closed, city spokesman Chris Graham said. Crews are continuing to work on the intersection of Orange Camp Road and Woodland Boulevard as part of the area needs to be repaved.

Businesses and some homes in south DeLand had been advised Tuesday to boil water after a main line broke in the area.
