"It does not really change anything because we catch and release, we throw them back," Zach Trahan said about the temporarily ceased discharges of algae filled water that has been flowing through the C-44 canal from Lake Okeechobee. "I think it needs to stop. I was here last year when I saw it [algae] coming down the St. Lucie River and the Indian River [Lagoon] as well, and yeah, it stunk and it's bad for people's health."
