UPDATE: ECUA boil water notice lifted for areas near Mallory Street, N. 16th and 20th avenues

The Emerald Coast Utilities Authority has lifted the precautionary boil water notice for areas in Pensacola after bacteriological samples returned as clear. The following streets are no longer under a boil water advisory:

  • E. Mallory St. between N. 16th Ave. & N 20th Ave.
  • E. Lloyd between N. 16th Ave. & N. 20th Ave.
  • E. Moreno St. between N. 16th Ave. & N 20th Ave.
  • E. Blount St. between N. 16th Ave. & N 20th Ave.
  • E. Lee between N. 16th Ave. & N 20th Ave.
  • N. 16th Ave. between E. Mallory St. and E. Lloyd St.
  • N. 17th Ave. between E. Mallory St. and E. Lloyd St.
  • N. 18th Ave. between E. Mallory St. and E. Lloyd St.
  • N. 19th Ave. between E. Mallory St. and E Lloyd St.
  • N. 20th Ave. between E. Mallory St. and E. Lloyd St.

  • Ashford Road
  • Derry Drive
  • Glenmore Drive

Emerald Coast Utilities Authority announced Monday evening that it has lifted its system-wide precautionary boil water notice for all customers expect those in two areas.

ECUA's sampling team collected 385 samples at 190 sites in 48 hours, gathering two samples per site, and all but two of the results have returned clear.

The areas that remain under boil water advisories are the Kings Road Subdivision and a four-block area in East Hill delineated by 16th Avenue, east to 20th Avenue, and East Mallory Street south to East Lloyd Street.

The following areas remain under the boil water advisory:
