Portion of Baylen Street between West Strong and Cervantes streets to be closed Thursday

Baylen Street between West Strong and Cervantes streets will be closed for much of the work day Thursday.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area during the closure, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A water line installation project requires the street to be closed.

Residents and business owners within the area will still be able to get to their property, according to a media release from the city of Pensacola.
